One of the most awaited days of the year is the school picnic. As a part of outsource activity, a recreational picnic was arranged for the students of nursery to grade 2 on 1st December, 2023. The venue was the Narrow Gauge Rail Museum – Nagpur. The students were brimming with excitement as they explored the museum that provided an informative experience about the history of Indian Railways. The students watched the narrow-gauge steam and diesel engines, narrow gauge coaches and freight train coaches on display with utmost amazement and delight. The star attraction of the museum – the Toy Train that takes the periphery of the museum area was like a cherry on the cake. Children also enjoyed net climbing thoroughly. They played on the swings. They danced and sang songs to their full delight. The picnic materialized under the able stewardship of the picnic-coordinator Ms. Madhura Vaishyampayan. The students were thankful to the principal Ms. Rashmi Shendre for such a memorable and fantastic day-out.
